Fettuccine in a tomato-cream sauce


Olive oil — 2 tbsp. l.
Butter — 2 tbsp. l.
Onions — 1 pc.
Garlic — 4 cloves
Any tomato sauce — 900 ml
Salt and pepper — to taste
Sugar — 1 pinch
Fatty cream — 1 cup
Grated Parmesan or Romano cheese
Fresh basil, chopped
Fettuccine — 1 pack


1. Cook pasta according to package directions.
2. Drain the water, leaving 1 cup of water from the pasta.
3. Melt the olive oil and butter over medium heat.
4. Chop onion and garlic finely.
5. Fry the garlic in butter with onions for 1-2 minutes.
6. Pour the tomato sauce, add salt, pepper and a pinch of sugar.
7. Stir and cook for 25-30 minutes on low heat, stirring occasionally.
8. Remove from heat and add the cream.
9. Add cheese to taste, and then check the seasoning.
10. Return the fettuccine in sauce, mix
11. Add the basil to the pasta and serve immediately.
